H1N1 Precautions
Brown Local Schools has implemented many extra precautionary measures to reduce the spread of the anticipated H1N1 flu outbreak. Disinfectant cleaners are available in each classroom & bus and all staff are assisting with frequent cleaning of high hand traffic areas. H1N1 fact sheets have been distributed to all staff, students and parents. Educational lessons and videos have been shared with the students. Brown Local's administrative team is working with the Carroll County Health Department to host an immunization clinic as soon as the vaccine becomes available. Please make sure your contact information remains current so that we can call if your child becomes ill. Any student who becomes ill should remain home until 24 hours after their fever is gone without medication.
